The Sharon Recreation Department and SYBSA coordinate the softball program
for girls in Grades K-9. Our goal is to provide instruction in "fast pitch" softball
to the girls in a fun, instructive and supportive environment. Girls will learn to hit, throw, scoop a grounder and catch a pop fly. Those who want to learn may pitch
and catch as well. All games are at the Ames Street Fields. Prior to the start date, coaches will contact all players about what team they are on. Refreshments are available at the Ames Street Snack Shack during games.

Start date for 2008 Season for 3/4/5 and 6/7/8/9 programs is March 30, weather permitting. The 1/2 grade program begins the week of April 7th. Kindergarten will be played at Ames Street on Friday evenings with the boys kindergarten program.
