We are happy to announce that Spring registration is OPEN! We are excited to share our plans for the 2021 season...

1. Safety is our #1 priority, and we will continue to work with the Town of Sharon to monitor and update our COVID policies and procedures. Our current reopening plan, FAQs, and other information can be located here.

2. We need many additional hands to help ensure that we are running a program that is safe for our players, families, and the larger community. Please scroll down or click here and sign up as a volunteer when you sign up your child.

3. This year we are combining Tee Ball for our boys and girls. We are hoping that this will strengthen and increase the number of new families to join our SYBSA family - the tee-ballers are our future!

4. We are excited to announce that SYBSA will be sponsoring a Scholarship award for baseball and softball alumni. Below is an option to contribute to this flagship scholarship. We are thrilled to be able to offer this to our alumni.

PLEASE NOTE: In order to make this season a reality we are in need of many additional hands to help ensure that we are running a program that is safe for our players, families, and the larger community. Please consider signing yourself up as a volunteer when you sign up your child. We are in need of both ON and OFF field help. If we are unable to get enough volunteers committed to helping us run this all-volunteer organization, we may have to limit what ages and/or programming we can offer. In order to safely run programming, volunteers must officially register so we can complete required safety checks and assign volunteers tasks. Please click HERE and sign up TODAY!

SYBSA Scholarship Donation

We are excited to announce that SYBSA will be sponsoring a Scholarship award for baseball and softball alumni, for students who have attended a local high school and are planning to continue their education at a vocational school or college, two-year college, four-year college, or university, or have enlisted in a branch of the US Armed Forces.

By clicking “Register”, you will be able to contribute a flat $10 amount to this flagship scholarship. If you would like to donate more than the flat-rate amount, please see our Sponsorship & Merchandise page, or reach out to our Treasurer, David Newman, at Treasurer@SYBSA.org. We are thrilled to be able to offer this to our alumni!

Contributions are accepted on a year-round basis. As we would like to recognize your donation on the current SYBSA Scholarship Contributors Banner, which will be hung for the 2021 year, we ask your gift to be made by May 1st.

Any questions about the program please email Scholarship@SYBSA.org. Please email your business logo to Spsonor@SYBSA.org

2021 Spring Co-Ed (Boys & Girls) Tee Ball

(Typically Pre-K to K and following the LL Age Calculator)

The primary goals of Tee Ball are to instruct children in the fundamentals of the sport and to allow them to experience the value of teamwork. The time is spent on teaching and will focus on fun, fitness, and fundamentals. With player engagement in mind, we try to keep kids in small groups as they transfer between hitting, fielding, throwing, and running stations.

Parents are strongly encouraged to become involved as managers or coaches, or volunteer in a variety of other capacities, assuring a great experience for all players. Consider signing up to volunteer! It will be the best decision you make; coaching at this age is so much fun!

No live player pitching is permitted in this division; over the course of the spring season, this age group may transition to coach pitch.

The league will run from 5/2 through 6/6, on Sundays from 1-2 pm at Deb Sampson. If two or more sessions are canceled in May, we will add a Friday evening make-up session on 5/29 and/or 6/4.

Questions can be directed to VPSoftball@sybsa.org or VPBaseball@sybsa.org.

2021 Spring Volunteer Registration (On & Off Field!)

We need MANY volunteers to make this season happen.

In addition to the typical call for on-field support, there are significant needs to have adult volunteers ensure that we are running a safe program for our players, families and community.

If we do not have enough volunteers signed up, we may need to reduce the scope of our proposed season and/or cancel the season.

Thank you for your help.
