Sunday Baseball (tomorrow 9/22)
by posted 09/21/2019

Dear Families:

Looking forward to tomorrow; the high schoolers will be helping again, and we really felt they added a positive dimension to the clinic.  We'll do more skills tomorrow, and plan on scrimmaging again at the end.  As we'll have another hot day, please make sure water bottles are full -- we'll plan on taking a few more breaks throughout the hour and a half.

See you tomorrow.

What to wear/bring: Players should wear baseball pants or athletic pants, sneakers or cleats, water bottle.  Players are required during Spring season to wear a cup. While it is not required for this clinic unless they would like to try catching, it's a good thing to get used to wearing and is recommended.

What happens if the weather doesn't look good/it's raining? Think positively! It's going to be sunny and warm each and every Sunday afternoon! But, just in case we do run into any weather that prevents us from running the clinic, we'll try to make that decision as early as possible and send out an email to all players. We will also try to post on Facebook as well. If you are on FB and haven't yet become our 'friend', please do so!

Want to help? If you are interested in lending a hand, we are always looking for more volunteers. Please consider signing up today! (Scroll down to the bottom of the registration page: https://www.leagueathletics.com/Registration/Default.asp?n=20213&org=JOBS.SYBSA.ORG)

Sunday Baseball (tomorrow 9/15)
by posted 09/14/2019

Dear Families,

Bill, Ben, Len and I had a great time coaching the kids this past Sunday, and we look forward to another great session tomorrow, where we'll look to do a bit more with hitting and pitching, and perhaps get the catcher's gear on a few of the kids as well -- reminder to wear a cup for would-be catchers (even if it's not a strong desire at this point, it's good for everyone to try and get a feel for each position at least once).

Weather looks fine, but information below as usual.
